Why Alosea exists
It all started with a trip.
"Impossible to order a taxi on arrival. Impossible to call our loved ones. Impossible to find the hotel address. And at the airport, local SIM cards are sold at outrageous prices to rushed travellers."
One day, I had to open an important document. No more data on the local SIM I'd bought: I had to go top it up. While waiting, I activated my French SIM card "just for a few seconds". The result: a massive bill.
Then I discovered the eSIM. A Wi-Fi hotspot, a QR code to scan, two minutes… and everything was sorted. No queues, no shops, no nasty surprises.
That's when Alosea was born — a family project, with my mum. The wish to offer travellers what we would have so loved to have that day: a simple, honest connection, with no traps.
