You buy an eSIM plan, you receive your QR code by email, you install it on your phone. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal as long as your eSIM is not activated. Once activated, the service is performed and the right of withdrawal ends.
Article 1 — Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "T&Cs") govern the contractual relationship between Alosea (hereinafter "the Seller") and any adult natural person with the legal capacity to contract (hereinafter "the Customer"), in connection with the sale of eSIM plans on the website alosea.com (hereinafter "the Site").
Any order placed on the Site implies full, complete and unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs by the Customer.

Article 3 — Definitions
- eSIM: dematerialized SIM card integrated directly into the Customer's device, allowing access to a mobile network without physical medium.
- QR code: two-dimensional barcode sent by email to the Customer, allowing the installation of the eSIM on their device.
- Activation: action by which the eSIM is installed on the Customer's device and connected to a mobile network in the destination country.
- Plan: volume of mobile data, duration of use and geographic coverage zone associated with an eSIM.
- Order: operation by which the Customer purchases a Plan on the Site.
Article 4 — Description of services
Alosea offers for sale prepaid eSIM plans for travelers, including a volume of mobile data usable for a specified duration in the geographical coverage zone indicated on the product page.
The essential characteristics of each plan (data volume, duration, countries covered, partner operators) are specified on the product page, in accordance with article L.111-1 of the French Consumer Code.
Important: the services offered require an eSIM-compatible and unlocked device (not blocked by an operator). It is the Customer's responsibility to check the compatibility of their device before any Order. A dedicated compatibility check page is available on the Site.
Article 5 — Order
To place an Order, the Customer follows these steps:
- selection of the country or region of destination;
- choice of plan (data volume and duration);
- entry of their contact details (email mandatory for delivery);
- verification of the summary and express acceptance of these T&Cs;
- secure payment via Stripe.
The Order is considered concluded from the moment the Customer receives a confirmation email containing the eSIM installation QR code.
Article 6 — Prices
Plan prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included. The Seller, as an auto-entrepreneur benefiting from the VAT exemption, does not charge VAT (article 293 B of the French General Tax Code).
Alosea reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Plans will be invoiced at the price in effect at the time of Order validation.
Article 7 — Payment
Payment is made exclusively online, at the time of the Order, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or via other payment methods offered by our provider Stripe Inc., certified PCI-DSS level 1.
No bank data is stored by Alosea. Transactions are entirely secured by Stripe via industry standard protocols (TLS, 3D Secure).
Article 8 — eSIM delivery
The eSIM is delivered electronically (by email) to the address provided by the Customer when placing the Order. Delivery includes:
- an installation QR code;
- detailed installation instructions (iOS and Android);
- the invoice in PDF format.
Delivery is generally completed within a few minutes after payment confirmation. In case of non-receipt, the Customer is invited to check the "spam" / "junk" folder of their inbox, then contact customer service at contact@alosea.com.
Article 9 — Activation and validity period
Upon receipt of the QR code, the Customer has 30 days to install and activate their eSIM. This period corresponds to the technical conditions imposed by our partner wholesaler.
Beyond this period without activation, the QR code expires and can no longer be used. No refund can be granted for an eSIM not activated within the allotted time.
The validity period of the plan (for example: 7 days, 15 days, 30 days) starts from the actual activation of the eSIM, unless otherwise specified on the product page.
Article 10 — Right of withdrawal and refund
In accordance with articles L221-18 and following of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase to request a refund of their order, provided the eSIM has not been activated. The digital service being performed upon eSIM activation (article L221-28), no refund can be made once it has been activated. Requests should be sent to our customer service at contact@alosea.com or via WhatsApp; refunds are processed within 48 hours to the original payment method.
Article 12 — Legal warranties
The Customer benefits from the following legal warranties:
- Legal warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code): the service must conform to its description and to the uses for which it is intended.
- Warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code): the Customer can obtain a refund or price reduction in case of a hidden defect rendering the service unfit for its use.

Article 13 — Liability
Alosea undertakes to provide a service in accordance with its commitments. Alosea's liability is limited to direct damages suffered by the Customer resulting from proven fault by Alosea, and cannot exceed the amount of the Order concerned.
Alosea cannot be held responsible for:
- malfunctions related to the Customer's device or its incompatibility with eSIM technology;
- mobile network failures of partner operators in the destination country;
- the inability to activate the eSIM due to the Customer's lack of internet connection;
- indirect costs (roaming charges, data overconsumption, etc.) related to misuse of the eSIM.
Article 14 — Customer service
Alosea's customer service can be reached:
- by email at contact@alosea.com, 7 days a week (quick response, often within the day);
- via WhatsApp for support during travel, from 9 AM to 10 PM (Paris time).
Article 15 — Personal data
The processing of the Customer's personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, compliant with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).
Article 16 — Mediation and dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to first contact Alosea's customer service at contact@alosea.com in order to try to find an amicable solution.
Failing amicable resolution, and in accordance with articles L.611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may use the following mediation service free of charge:

Article 17 — Force majeure
Alosea cannot be held responsible for failure to perform its obligations in case of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code, in particular in case of natural disaster, armed conflict, generalized interruption of telecom services, or any other external cause independent of its will.
Article 18 — Modifications to the T&Cs
Alosea reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. The T&Cs applicable to an Order are those in force at the date of the Order.
Article 19 — Applicable law and jurisdiction
These T&Cs are subject to French law. In case of dispute and failing amicable or mediated resolution, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction, in accordance with applicable territorial jurisdiction rules.
