Samaná — humpback whales + El Limón waterfall

HUMPBACK WHALE (Megaptera novaeangliae) season mid-January to mid-March: ~3,000 whales migrate from North Atlantic (Greenland, Norway) to SAMANÁ BAY to mate and give birth — one of the world's largest humpback concentrations.
